A CLEARER PICTURE

Your family context.
Thoughtful boundaries.

Here’s how tracking, AI suggestions and reminders work in the Kid Wins beta.

A shared family history

Kid Wins saves the child profiles, activity records, notes and other family information you enter to your family account. Invited family members can share that history. The app also keeps some information on your device to support its experience and syncing.

Use your own account and share family invitations only with people you want in that family. Avoid entering information you don’t want those caregivers to see.

Asking does not mean logging

When you use AI, your question and relevant family context may be sent to OpenAI through Kid Wins’ server to generate an answer. If you attach media for analysis, that content may also be processed to answer your request.

An AI question does not automatically become a completed feed, sleep, symptom or medication dose. You can review a suggested note, record something that actually happened, or choose Don’t save · just asking. Dismissing a tracking suggestion does not mean the conversation itself was erased.

AI answers can be wrong. They are not diagnoses or a substitute for professional care.

History before forecasts

Personal timing estimates require enough recent, usable history across multiple days, with checks for consistency. Sleep also needs enough comparable prior sleep periods. Default-assumed bottle intake is not treated as confirmed drinking data.

If the records don’t support a useful estimate, Kid Wins stays in Learning and can show separately labeled general guidance. The app’s eligibility rules are safeguards, not clinically validated cutoffs. A forecast is an observed pattern, not a medical schedule or a guarantee.

Your child’s cues and clinician’s guidance take priority over an app prediction. Saved manual reminder times remain separate from learned patterns.

Imports you review first

Excel and CSV files are read on your device. Only the activity records you confirm are saved to your family account; the import does not send the spreadsheet to AI.

Imported records are excluded from Smart Logic by default. You can choose to include accurate, sufficiently complete history. Adding historical records does not award Kid Wins or send missing-output catch-up reminders.

Notifications are optional

Each caregiver chooses whether to enable their device, which reminder categories to use and whether to set quiet hours. A category being on does not necessarily mean the phone is registered or that a forecast has enough history.

Use the notification test and background reminder checks in the app. A successful send is not a guarantee that a phone displayed it. See installation and notification help.

Still a beta

Kid Wins is for parents and caregivers, not an account for children to use independently. It is still being tested and improved. If something seems wrong, check the underlying record and use Feedback & feature requests in the app.
